Ravenwood Stairways Inc., became C-TPAT approved as a certified member of the C-TPAT program in July/2004. (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism). U.S. Customs and Border Protection Specialists visited Ravenwood Stairways in July/2005 to undergo a C-TPAT validation. The validations are designed to ensure that a C-TPAT security profile accurately reflects Ravenwood’s effort to create a secure international supply chain and build a stronger partnership through an exchange of information, ideas and best practices. Ravenwood is now validated and customs will proceed to provide Ravenwood Stairways Inc. with C-TPAT benefits including a reduced level of cargo exams, anti-terrorism training seminars, sharing of information and best practices,etc.
